Girls born between 2008 & 2011 to participate in our inaugural modified contact league

KW Minor Lacrosse is proud to announce that in 2018 we will be offering a girls-only minor development House League for box lacrosse.

We're looking for girls born between 2008 & 2011 to participate in our inaugural modified contact league.

Does your daughter currently play hockey?  Here's why hockey players should play lacrosse...

  • It's a great method to increase physical fitness in hockey's off-season
  • Team sports build self-esteem and encourage teamwork
  • Lacrosse teaches leadership skills
  • Helps prevent sport burn-out by by playing a new, fast-paced, yet very similar sport
  • Players of all fitness levels and abilities can compete
  • You lean both offensive and defensive strategies
  • Lacrosse reinforces the importance of quickness and agility around the net
  • Lacrosse increases hand-eye coordination

This is a small sampling of the many benefits of coupling off-season lacrosse with hockey.

We will be holding team evaluations in March.  Games and practices will be 1 hour sessions twice a week running April to June with a season-end tournament!

Registration is online and we are offering an early bird discount ending February 28th.  Please see our registration page for more details:

What about a Rep/Travel team?

The goal of this House League is to introduce the sport to girls at an earlier age to build interest and development core lacrosse skills.

We will be fielding a Rep PeeWee and above Rep/Travel team, however, if the interest is there we will most certainly entertain fielding a Novice team.

If you have any questions at all don't hesitate to reach out to Andrew Lane, VP Girls Box Lacrosse Rep.
